About SQALE

There is a large number of useful and lifesaving biomolecules that are currently not being scaled-up or manufactured. Prohibitive costs and lack of innovation due to high investment burdens of large-scale fixed facilities, leading to insufficient scale-up and biomanufacturing infrastructure globally.

  • CREATING ACCESS: Enhancing global availability of effective biopharmaceuticals and in-demand biomolecules.

  • DATA & ANALYTICS REVOLUTION: Data-driven biologics manufacturing, integrating quantum generative AI algorithms and generator-enhanced optimization techniques

Your new Team

SQALE's mission, goals and scientific rationale are based on years of successful research and development of the founder team. However, SQALE is a new and extremely ambitious company with many opportunities for every dedicated team member to grow into various directions and roles.

The young and multi-national core team is located at the BioInnovation Institute (BII) where SQALE currently is part of the Deep Tech Lab - Quantum incubator program. BII is a vibrant start-up hub with around 100 portfolio companies and many options for social activities, seminars and industry/R&D events. Here, you will be working in close collaboration with the existing team support SQALE's journey revolutionize the biomanufacturing industry

The role of SQALE´s new Junior Marketing & Project Manager

  • The Junior Marketing & Project Manager directly reports to Senior Project Manager Jascha Jäger

  • Close collaboration with SQALE's founder team around Christian Beenfeldt Ph.D (CEO Knowledge Hub Zealand), Seyed Soheil Mansouri Ph.D (Associate Professor at DTU) and Christopher Savoie Ph.D (CEO of Zapata AI and original inventor of Apple's SIRI).

  • Support and lead of project development and project management for innovation, R&D and commercial projects within the company, as well as together with international partner companies and academic institutions.

  • Support with SQALE's communication strategy development and execution.

  • Support and lead off communications projects surrounding SQALE's website & other online presentations of the company such as LinkedIN.

  • Support of the development of SQALE as a young organization, including but not limited to, the development of organizational (financial, legal, admin, HR) infrastructure and management systems.

  • Support of dialogues with investors and development of material and presentations

  • Support and lead of dialogues with technical & commercial partners and development of related materials

  • Support with applications for publicly funded project grants within Denmark, EU and the US.

  • Support Senior Project Manager Jascha Jäger with ad-hoc tasks and company internal projects

What we expect from a successful candidate

  • Master student (Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Communications, Business Development, Economics, …)

  • Located in Copenhagen

  • Excellent written and spoken English. Danish is not required

  • Ideally some work experience from previous relevant (student-/) positions

  • Excellent Office365 (Excel, Power Point,…) skills.

  • Graphic design or other "creative" skills are a plus.

  • High-energy and very independent

  • Great social skills and ability to function in diverse & international teams

  • Catch and throw many balls at the same time without dropping the main frame

  • Motivation to progress and learn

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Self-drive and pro-activeness within and outside the areas of day-to-day responsibility

  • Navigate chaos & new territories and develop structure where there is none
