We are looking for someone to play a key role in the acceleration of digital transformation and emerging technologies in Novo Nordisk.

The team waiting for you
Open Innovation is part of our Commercial Digital and Data IT area. We are exploring several areas with a strong focus on accelerating the digital transformation of NN by supporting the organization in boosting partnerships with innovative players in digital healthcare across several regions.

Core focus is to remain forward-looking and showcase strong adaptability. The team works in a highly agile manner and shifts focus based on rapidly changing opportunities and threats within emerging technologies.

Behind the title
As an Open Innovation Analyst, you will join a team that continuously scouts and identifies ideas and new solutions from external sources; screens, evaluates, and selects ideas for future development in line with industry needs at a global scale.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new innovative companies working in the digital healthcare ecosystem.
  • Helping to shape and understand how to collaborate with those companies.
  • Working on projects to support the organization in the evaluation and piloting of new digital opportunities.
  • Working closely with the Novo Nordisk business units to generate impact in our business with digital through partnering.

You should also be comfortable organizing information, gathering learnings, and sharing those learnings among the organization.

Please note this role is for a maternity cover and has a contract of 7 months. However, after that period, there is a good chance of staying with us, as our department is continuously growing.

What we scout for
Strong analytical, technical, and business skills are needed to navigate the landscape of technologies and translate uncertainties into tangible opportunities for Novo Nordisk.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have most of the following:

  • 2-4 years of full-time experience working in venture capital, a startup, or innovation unit in the digital healthcare environment.
  • Relevant Master's degree in technology with a connection to innovation management.
  • Innovation track record with experience in startup scouting and partnerships.
  • Experience in organizing information and converting it into actionable results.
  • Knowledge and passion for digital trends and technology, especially in digital health.
  • Vivid and curious learner, willing to go the extra mile.

Personally, you should have excellent communication skills, flexibility, and creativity to link opportunities and drive the maturation from ideas to successful pilots. We are looking for a person with a passion for discovering and modeling disruptive innovations.
