About this opportunity
As a Senior Client Associate in Large Corporates & Institutions DK you will play a key role in creating great customer experiences for our institutional customers through our relationship strategy and expertise in finance and institutional banking. You will join one of the largest banks in the Nordics working with an exciting institutional customer portfolio consisting of Life & Pension, Insurance, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Banks and Mortgage Banks.

We are looking for a Senior Client Associate who strives for bringing value to our customers and to our team and who actively seeks continued personal development. Within our inspiring and committed team we offer a high level of responsibility and new possibilities for you to grow.

What you will be doing:

  • You will together with the Client Executive be responsible for a portfolio of strategically important Danish financial institutions.
  • You will jointly drive cross-product customer teams toward developing and maintaining long term customer relationships in order to originate and facilitate business across Nordea's product offerings.
  • You will focus on expanding the business potential and long term profitability through a deep understanding of the customers' investment and banking needs. This you will do in close collaboration with colleagues from Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Cash Management, Trade Finance and Custody.
  • You will analyze and manage credit, compliance, and ESG risk.
  • You will actively participate in customer meetings, including prepare and present agenda and material.
  • You will have responsibility for and drive specific customer event-driven cases and projects.

Your experience and background:

  • You have a relevant academic background and years of relevant experience from the financial sector, but may vary depending on your background.
  • Potentially you have experience from working with institutional customers and projects related to this segment either connected to capital market products, banking products or related to the credit risk.
  • A natural interest in the financial markets, its drivers and its actors is an advantage.
  • You are self-driven, proactive, analytical with problem solving skills and a structured approach with a critical eye for detail.
  • You can adapt to a frequently changing environment, tasks and issues which need to be prioritized and solved within a short time frame.
  • You act with integrity and you like to establish solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are an innovative team player focusing on knowledge sharing and feedback.
  • You are fluent in Danish and have strong communication skills in English, both spoken and in writing.
