What your work will look like:
  • Look for and research new partners in different markets.
  • Develop plans to connect with new leads.
  • Negotiate contracts and sign new partners. Go to industry events and partner meetings. Be involved in meetings with partners. Keep track of your work and share your progress every month.
  • Make sure our CRM systems (like Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot) are up to date. Take care of a group of partners, including tech companies, payment service providers, and agencies.
  • Market Insight: Keep up with what's happening in the industry to help guide our partnerships.
  • Supporting Partners: Help new partners get started and give them the help they need to do well.
What you need to be successful in this role:
  • Sales experience: It's expected that you have had at least two years of experience in either Partner Sales, Account Management, or Direct Sales.
  • Curiosity: You should really want to understand what our customers and potential partners need.
  • Negotiation Skills: You need to be good at working out deals that are fair for everyone, being able to stand your ground, and understand that there are many ways of striking a deal. Understanding the counterpart is key, ensuring you understand their motives, so you as well can find alternative routes to strike a deal that is great for everyone.
  • Writing Skills: You should be able to write clearly in English and Danish. Norwegian and Swedish is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Teamwork: You'll need to be good at working with others, as you'll collaborate internally with many stakeholders, and externally with many partners.
  • Experience in the payments / fintech industry are not a must-have, but a nice plus.
