Core Responsibilities
  • Being owner of the Bill of Process framework, within our internal manufacturing, including digital tools
  • Drive and support NPI process to our mould manufacturing internally
  • Drive process mapping, PFMEA and handover of new process to our globally shop floors
  • Drive the process of ensuring mould parts production to complete moulds, at right time and quality
  • Understand and analyze our capabilities based on data to ensure the right improvements going forward to secure our overall KPI’s.
  • Optimize and improve current master routes to ensure efficient and industrialized production
  • Detect and analyze optimization possibilities based on data, to always make the best compromise between quality, reliability and cost

Mould Manufacturing Development is a key development area in the LEGO Group, where focus is to support our internal manufacturing of mould components and developing new platforms.

Manufacturing Product Introduction department, where this job is located, is a global provider of production data and standards to our internal mould manufacturing sides. This includes using of the state-of-the-art technology and software, within manufacturing of high-end mould components, to ensure a reliable and highly industrialized production environment, of single piece production.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Production engineering with 5-8 years of experience, from a manufacturing company
  • Having Six sigma Green belt
  • Deep knowledge about a complex manufacturing value chain, preferably from the mould making industry or similar
  • Initiate and challenge statistics data and analyses (capability study and other statistics tools).
  • Drive and support LEAN activities with a systematic approach for continuous improvement.
  • Be good at communicating with stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge about PLM systems, preferably Siemens Teamcenter manufacturing process planner
  • Master data knowledge, and understanding of the importance of consistent and high-quality master data to ensure a stable production

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
