Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark RWE AG Full time

RWE Renewables Denmark A/S
To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent

Renewables is the future of our business, and Offshore wind a pivotal element of our carbon neutral target. With 800+ fixed bottom and floating turbines – plus others totaling 800MW we operate for partners – we're already the No.2 generator globally. And we plan to triple our 2.2GW output by 2030, led by landmark projects such as Sofia (1,400 MW) and Kaskasi (342MW). Offshore wind is a constantly evolving technical, practical and social challenge. Our financial stability means you'll have the freedom to act with conviction and courage as we pivot to adopt new technologies – and continuously improve, together.

To ensure our further development in this area, we are now recruiting a Process Optimization Lead.

Your future plans

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Engineering Department's process landscape in alignment with the organizational process framework.
  • Draft and review processes, standards and documents in accordance with Management System Representatives' guidance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support the development and maintenance of RWE's Asset Management system, working with other functions within RWE.
  • Conduct process analysis to identify areas for enhancement, streamline workflows, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between business leaders, engineers, IT professionals, and other key stakeholders to reach common targets.
  • Promote and drive a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, innovation, and learning opportunities.
  • Conduct or coordinate training sessions, guiding teams and projects through process transitions to ensure smooth adoption and implementation.
  • Represent the Engineering Department in process expert forums, ensuring best practices and insights are shared across the organization.

Your profile

  • Minimum having a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5-10 years of direct experience in process management, business process reengineering, or optimization within the wind industry or a related technical field.
  • Certification of ISO 9001, 27001 or 55000 is beneficial, but not mandatory.
  • Practical understanding of process mapping, compliance, and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) with a focus on carrying out rather than theory.
  • Highly capable ability to analyze data, document workflows, and implement straightforward process improvements that add immediate value.
  • Solid organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Solid communication in English, collaboration skills, ensuring smooth coordination between engineers, IT teams, and business leaders.
  • Direct experience with change implementation, including conducting training sessions and supporting teams in adopting new ways of working.
  • A problem-solver with a pragmatic mindset, focused on taking action rather than just defining strategy.
  • A strong team player who thrives in a global, intense, and operational environment.
