About the Role
Chris-Marine is at the forefront of marine innovation, investing heavily in vessel performance monitoring. We've developed TrustOcean , a cutting-edge software and hardware platform designed to meet the evolving regulatory and operational needs of the maritime industry.
As Manager - Digital Marine Sales, you will play a pivotal role in leading our efforts to promote TrustOcean as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to global maritime customers. You'll combine your technical and commercial expertise to create value for customers while driving Chris-Marine's vision for sustainable, data-driven maritime operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with shipyards, shipowners, and industry stakeholders to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Sales Enablement: Develop technical proposals and bids aligned with customer requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with our global sales team, R&D, and product development to refine and promote our offerings.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise during sales processes and act as the primary point of contact for digital solutions.
- Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities and contribute to the growth of Chris-Marine's presence in the digital marine space.
What You Bring
We're looking for a passionate individual with:
- Experience in Marine SaaS: A strong understanding of software/hardware integration in marine environments.
- Technical and Commercial Expertise: Ability to translate complex technical solutions into compelling customer value propositions.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent English; additional languages (e.g., Scandinavian, Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Farsi) are an advantage.
- Flexibility: Occasional travel and adapt to evolving customer needs.
- Project Management Skills: Capable of managing multiple sales projects simultaneously.
