This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your skills, knowledge, and experience in wind turbines at Maersk Training – a company under the A.P. Møller-Maersk Group. As an instructor, you will be an essential member of our instructor team, which includes both full-time and part-time instructors from various industries, creating a diverse workplace. At Maersk Training, after thorough training and certification, you will primarily be responsible for conducting courses according to the GWO standard and customer-specific courses at our location in Esbjerg, with the possibility of teaching at some of Maersk Training's other locations. Then, in close collaboration with the area managers and Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with new sectors such as maritime, first aid, oil, and gas, where Maersk Training offers a wide range of courses with the possibility to influence your future development as an instructor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, develop, and improve theoretical and practical GWO technical and customer-specific technical training for the wind turbine industry as well as maritime STCW (maritime) and OPITO (oil and gas) courses with a focus on high quality and customer satisfaction
  • Deliver training as part of the instructor team. This includes risk analysis, preparation of equipment, and other course-specific activities depending on the course type and location
  • Be responsible for daily safety during the respective courses, for both participants and instructors
  • Maintain, develop, and improve teaching materials and methods according to legal and organizational requirements
  • Set high personal and professional standards
  • Show due diligence regarding courses, participants, and colleagues
  • Ensure a better learning experience
  • Ensure the highest possible operational flexibility, customer service, and efficiency when courses are delivered

Who are we looking for

  • Live in Esbjerg or surrounding areas (preferred)
  • Have experience as an electrician (electrician certification) and/or technical instructor in the wind turbine industry (this is a requirement)
  • You have solid technical knowledge about wind turbines from pre-assembly, installation, service, or de/commissioning of wind turbines.
  • Familiarity with up-to-date industrial techniques is considered advantageous
  • High personal and professional standards
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Curious and not afraid of challenges and learning about new areas/sectors
  • Good IT skills and technical knowledge
  • Team player
  • Comfortable standing in front of others and leading the training
  • Experience in teaching, but this is not a requirement
  • Prepared for potential travel days
  • Fluent in both Danish and English, both spoken and written
  • Fluent in German, but this is not a requirement
  • Willing to travel
