We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to head our Danish Transport Infrastructure & Mobility team. You will play a pivotal role in growing the team, expanding our client base, and delivering exceptional consulting services.

Your new role
As our new Team Lead, You will be part of the Transport Infrastructure & Mobility Team:

Ramboll Management Consulting is the consulting arm of the global engineering and design firm Ramboll. Following the acquisition of civity Management Consultants in 2023, Ramboll bolstered its expertise in the transport, infrastructure, and mobility sector, focusing on public and private sector clients. The team offers a unique blend of industry knowledge and strategic consulting, helping clients navigate the evolving transport landscape.

This dynamic team advises clients on all aspects of transport, infrastructure, and mobility. From strategic projects and business model design to operational optimization and technological implementation, they help shape the future of transportation in Denmark and beyond.

The team leverages Ramboll's extensive engineering expertise to Ramboll Management Consulting as the leading management consultancy that is enabling the sustainability transformation in transportation. The transport sector team positions Ramboll Management Consulting and Ramboll as a thought leader and a strategic sparring partner to C-Suite executives in the transport market.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead and manage a team of talented consultants from different departments specializing in transport infrastructure and mobility.
  • Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the Danish Transport Infrastructure & Mobility team of Ramboll Management Consulting
  • Secure new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing and potential clients. (e.g Banedanmark, DSB, Sund og Belt, Mærsk, DFDS etc.)
  • Build up Ramboll market position within green logistics and support clients in the sector with the green transformation.
  • Manage client projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding expectations.
  • Contribute thought leadership through presentations, proposals, and industry publications.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the transport sector.

About you

  • Proven track record of leading and managing a consulting team in the transport sector (7+ years)
  • In-depth knowledge of transport infrastructure, mobility trends, and Danish transportation policies.
  • Knowledge and understanding within the green transition of the transport and infrastructure sector e.g. decarbonization, green fuel transition, EU regulation drivers
  • Strong business development skills with a demonstrable ability to win new clients.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering results.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Danish and English (both written and verbal).
