Vestas is a global supplier of wind energy. We design, manufacture, install, and service wind turbines worldwide. The company has close to 22,000 employees and has installed wind turbines in more than 75 countries. The head office is in Aarhus, Denmark. The UK service department with headquarters in Warrington is responsible for service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind farms in the country. The department has an open and informal culture where partnership and good communication are key to our growth. Responsibilities

  1. As a LPF Agent, you will be responsible for:
  2. Technical analysis and preparation of service orders related to proactive work.
  3. Analysis of alarms and turbine behavior in various tools.
  4. Evaluate priority of work and suggest bundling opportunities to work orders.
  5. Communication with technicians, dispatchers, and our technical and engineering support team.
  6. Continuous improvement, including proactive search for areas for improvement, as well as a strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks.

Qualifications

  1. At the professional level, it is desired that you have:
  2. Experience with technical planning/technical support, ideally obtained in a technical environment, alternatively wind turbine technician newly qualified engineer (e.g., mechanical or electrical).
  3. Electrician in an established role with a focus on technical specifications, documentation, and reporting.
  4. Preferably fluent skills in English.
  5. Good IT skills; SAP/Salesforce experience is welcome.

Competencies

  1. When it comes to personal qualities, we expect you to have:
  2. General understanding of WTG technology and an interest in diving into technical documentation.
  3. Good communication skills both orally and in writing.
  4. Structured and solution-oriented approach to daily tasks.
  5. Ability to think clearly in a time-sensitive setting, as well as the ability to handle varying workloads and tasks.
