Job Description

At Danfoss, we are seeking a highly skilled Application Expert to join our team. As an Application Expert, you will play a critical role in executing and refining our application strategies from both technical and commercial perspectives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and the sales department to develop and test new application concepts and drive the success of our product offerings in prioritized applications.

  • Develop technical solutions, including system P&ID drawings and simulations.
  • Enhance strategies focusing on customer value and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze and support application value propositions, including NBA assessments.
  • Provide expertise to the sales team for impactful value delivery.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and facilitate training for colleagues and customers.
  • Create tools and materials to validate and demonstrate value propositions.
  • Co-develop product offerings for Industrial Wastewater Reuse and Recycling application.
  • Innovate solutions to meet customer challenges and generate new ideas.
Background & Skills

As an ideal candidate, you are a technically proficient and customer-focused professional, with a strong foundation in engineering and a passion for innovation in membrane-based applications.

  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering, specializing in membrane-based applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and/or sourcing components for membrane-based Reverse Osmosis and Industrial Wastewater Reuse and Recycling applications.
  • Commercial experience in sales or marketing is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 30-50 days annually.
