About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Public Policy Manager to join our team at Wolt. As a Public Policy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Wolt's policy engagement strategy to build strong relationships with societal stakeholders, including policymakers, authorities, labor market organizations, industry representatives, and civil organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Wolt's policy engagement strategy to ensure the company's interests are represented in legislative, regulatory, and societal processes.
  • Represent Wolt in interactions with stakeholders, including policymakers, authorities, and industry representatives.
  • Work closely with our communications and operative teams to provide policy input on various topics.
  • Prepare briefing materials and advise Wolt's leadership on policy matters.
  • Participate in the work of the global policy team of a leading European tech company.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of proven experience in public policy, government affairs, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in social sciences, law, economics, or a similar field.
  • Solid experience in leading engagements in policy processes.
  • Ability to represent the company at the highest levels of decision-making.
  • Brilliant mind with the ability to think strategically and develop creative policy proposals.
  • Analytical mindset to effectively weigh risks and payoffs in several scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a doer mentality.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, and preferably in one other Scandinavian language.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
