As a member of our Cloud Operations & Innovation team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Our datacenter infrastructure is a complex and dynamic environment, with over 100 datacenters and 1 million servers worldwide. As a Compliance Datacenter Program Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our datacenter operations meet the highest standards of compliance and security.

You'll work closely with our compliance and audit teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencies and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single point of contact for all datacenter metro level audit and compliance projects, initiatives, and ongoing operational activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencies and compliance.
  • Work closely with our compliance and audit teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with procedural document owners to resolve gaps identified through assessments, audits, or other observations.
  • Manage and maintain all environmental, emergency, and business continuity plans/documents for the Datacenter Metro.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent AND industry experience, or significant years industry experience and college coursework.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

  • Possess a strong record of accomplishment in operational excellence.
  • Build productive and collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Experience in managing Compliance in large-scale mission critical infrastructure environments.
  • Articulate communicator and influencer who is credible, self-assured, and highly capable of negotiating successful outcomes with key business leaders.
