Public Affairs Coordinator for Sustainability Initiatives

Job Summary
Global Fashion Agenda is seeking a highly motivated and organised Public Affairs Coordinator to support the implementation of its sustainability initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of global public policies, particularly those related to the fashion industry, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of policy activities, monitoring EU funding opportunities, participating in events, and updating stakeholder/initiatives mappings.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of policy activities as part of GFA's policy engagement strategy.
- Monitor EU/other funding opportunities around fashion and sustainability.
- Participate in events, webinars, and other formats to keep up-to-date on policy developments.
- Update stakeholder/initiatives mappings and communication material.
- Support the Public Affairs team in any ad-hoc tasks such as setting up meetings, PPTs, etc.
- Assist with office tasks together with the organisation's other interns and student workers.
Requirements
- A proactive, self-motivated, outgoing team player who can work independently and take on responsibility for assignments.
- Passionate about politics, the fashion industry, and sustainability.
- A good understanding of EU policymaking and institutions.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Fluency in English, in particular, excellent writing skills.
- Skills to interact and engage with external stakeholders diplomatically.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Interest in working in a fast-paced, dynamic, challenging, and team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
