We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the University of Southern Denmark - SDU. The successful candidate will be part of our research group focused on sustainable cooling and heating technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement dynamic simulation models of ground source R718 high temperature heat pumps integrated with heat-powered refrigeration systems.
- Validate the models against experimental data and implement effective operational flexibility strategies.
- Conduct technical, dissemination, and management activities related to the GEOSYN project.
- Supervise Ph.D., Master, and Bachelor students working on similar scientific topics.
- Publish research findings in scientific journals with high impact.
- Assist in teaching activities and engage in funding applications.
- Ph.D. degree in Mechanical (or Energy or similar) Engineering.
- Strong background in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Control Engineering, and Energy Conversion Systems.
- Experience in implementing dynamic simulation models of energy systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
