Clinical Professor and Consultant in Clinical Pharmacology Opportunity

The Department of Clinical Pharmacology at Copenhagen University Hospital - Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg is a leading institution in the field, serving the entire Capital Region of Denmark. With over 50 doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and approximately 10 PhD students, we offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Our main task is to provide counseling on rational pharmacotherapy to the public, healthcare professionals, and administrators. We participate in regional and national council and committee work, including collaboration with the Danish Medicines Council. Our department educates future specialists in clinical pharmacology and other healthcare professionals while maintaining a strong research profile affiliated with local and regional clinical departments.
Clinical Functions and Focus Areas- We are a driving part of the Danish Poison Information Centre, the Polypharmacy outpatient clinic, and Local and Regional Drug Committees, providing expert guidance on safe medication practices.
This new position will enable us to strengthen leadership in clinical research and teaching in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen, further enhancing our reputation as a hub for medical excellence.
Qualifications- To be considered, applicants must hold a board-certified specialist degree in Clinical Pharmacology or demonstrate equivalent clinical experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and management skills are essential for this role.
- A competitive salary of around 65,000 EUR per year (based on location and industry standards).

This is a full-time position, requiring at least 50% dedication to academic tasks, such as research, teaching, and evaluation.
