The Choudhary lab conducts research using state-of-the-art technologies, including quantitative proteomics, next-generation nucleic acid sequencing, advanced microscopy, CRISPR-based genome editing, and bioinformatics. We aim to understand the role of acetylation and other chromatin modifications in gene regulation, and decipher underlying mechanisms using quantitative proteomics and genomics.
Candidates will have the opportunity to perform wet laboratory experiments involving cultured mammalian cells, CRISPR, and NGS-based genomic technologies, or work in bioinformatic analyses of next-generation sequencing data. We encourage candidates with experience in both wet lab and bioinformatics to apply.
