We are looking for a skilled Junior Financial Controller to join our dynamic Global Finance Team at DIS/CREADIS - Dansk IngeniørService A/S, a global, sustainable, and innovative engineering and consultancy company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in timely and accurate internal and external finance reporting, working closely with our finance team to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance within the accounting area, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accuracy.
- Monthly Closure: Handle hands-on tasks related to monthly closure and preparation of financial statements, ensuring efficient and accurate processes.
- Process Optimization: Optimize accounting/finance processes in our department and the organization, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Control Setup: Ensure an efficient and updated control setup, supporting the organization in achieving its financial goals.
- Accounting Support: Provide support to the organization in accounting-related questions, offering expert guidance and advice.
- Financial Models: Contribute to the development of financial models that can catch deviations in monthly reports, enhancing the quality of our financial data.
- VAT and Audit: Handle VAT-related issues and participate in the external audit process, ensuring seamless compliance and accuracy.
- Business Processes: Develop and document business processes and accounting policies, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a colleague with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, and experience in a similar role or as an auditor is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Excel and Analytical Skills: Good Excel, Power BI, and analytical skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Data-Driven Approach: Skills to support a data-driven approach and a digital maturity level in the finance department.
- Communication: Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Independence and Collaboration: The capability to solve tasks with great independence while valuing cooperation and sparring with colleagues when needed.
