At Novo Nordisk A/S, we're committed to creating an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and fosters collaboration. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced operational excellence leader to join our team as Director in the Production Support department.

The successful candidate will lead the Business Support function within our production facility, overseeing five teams and leaders with responsibilities spanning Supply Chain and Finance, Training and Document Management, Digitalization, Business Intelligence & Manufacturing Intelligence, and Process Operator Trainees. This is an exciting opportunity to drive operational efficiency and excellence while ensuring the best possible business support for our factories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development & Implementation: Set and implement the strategic direction for business support processes across the area, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Business Support Operations: Manage and develop your organization within your area of responsibility, ensuring close collaboration and great support to production.
  • Leadership & Management: Lead the department through other leaders, managing a team of 7 direct reports and approximately 100 indirect reports, ensuring budget and people responsibility while fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.
  • LEAN: Drive a LEAN culture, develop your organization and employees on shopfloor, and ensure continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Requirements:

  • An academic degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, providing executive business support to senior leaders.
  • Experience with partnering, financial planning, reporting, and performance management processes, as well as knowledge of business processes, systems, and industry requirements.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in English, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.
