Nordic RCC A/S, a leading provider of calculation and recommendation services to the Nordic Electricity Transmission System Operators, is seeking a Chief Financial Technology Officer to join its team in Copenhagen.

Job Summary

The Chief Financial Technology Officer will be responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting operations of the company, including financial project management, VAT reporting, fixed assets accounting, chart of accounts maintenance, and daily accounting operations. Additionally, the role will involve further development of Power BI for financial and project reporting, system support for financial processes, and leadership of activities related to finance technology.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial project management in our ERP solution, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead the team responsible for VAT reporting, fixed assets accounting, chart of accounts maintenance, and daily accounting operations.
  • Develop and implement effective systems and processes to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, staying up-to-date with the latest financial technologies and trends.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager and other departments to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on financial procedures and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS reporting requirements.
  • Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial or accounting role, preferably in an international company.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software, including ERP systems, Power BI, and Visma HR/Time.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with financial project management, VAT reporting, and fixed assets accounting.
  • Knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements.
