Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Chief Financial Strategist to join our Finance team at Lunar Denmark.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing month-end processes, including reconciliations. Additionally, they will support with tax returns, year-end tasks, and annual reports. The role also involves assisting with consolidations, bridging accounting and financial controlling tasks, analyzing financial statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance, and contributing to optimizing financial processes and finding smarter ways of working.

What We Offer

As a Chief Financial Strategist at Lunar, you can expect a competitive salary range between €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage month-end processes, including reconciliations
  • Support with tax returns, year-end tasks, and annual reports
  • Assist with consolidations and bridge accounting and financial controlling tasks
  • Analyze financial statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Contribute to optimizing financial processes and finding smarter ways of working
Requirements
  • Experience in financial controlling, ideally in a financial institution
  • Good understanding of accounting to support the team with reconciliations
  • Solid knowledge of financial statements, balance sheets, and how reconciliations work
  • Detail-focused, analytical, and eager to dig into processes
  • Proactive and ready to challenge the norm, with bonus points if you're into improving processes
