Electrical Backup System Lead

Vestas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Backup System Lead to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. As a key member of our Power Solutions department, you will be responsible for managing and providing innovative solutions for our electrical backup systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement high-quality design solutions for electrical backup systems within specified timeframes and budgets.
  • Collaborate with global R&D teams and external suppliers to ensure cohesive project development.
  • Provide technical support to Service Technicians, assisting with troubleshooting and repairs via phone, ticketing system, or on-site visits.
  • Evaluate performance problems, perform root cause analysis, and offer recommendations to the Service organization.
  • Identify, develop, and validate technical improvement measures as part of the continuous improvement process.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in customer or supplier meetings and attend industry seminars to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in low-voltage electrical design.
  • Experience in designing electrical backup systems.
  • Good understanding of low-voltage components and system testing.
  • Familiarity with IEC and UL standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience working in a global company is beneficial.
