About the Role

Saxo Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our ambitious compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business in meeting regulatory requirements in a dynamic and international environment.

We are growing our team in Group Compliance and are looking for a competent and motivated Senior Compliance Officer to work within the Regulatory Tax Reporting domain. This includes Nordic/Regional Tax Reporting, IRS Tax Reporting, FATCA/CRS Reporting, and other related areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive compliance risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide expert advice and compliance opinions to the business on managing compliance risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular compliance monitoring activities to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and submit compliance monitoring reports to Saxo's senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of Saxo's compliance framework, ensuring it remains effective and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Masters in law, accounting, audit, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong background in compliance or audit, supervisory authority, or relevant work experience in Regulatory Tax Reporting.
  • Experience in working directly or indirectly within the regulatory tax reporting area, including client tax reporting to local tax authorities, global withholding tax, FATCA, CRS regulation, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills to review processes and controls put in place by the first line of defence.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Power BI tool, SQL for data analysis and queries purposes.
