Job DescriptionAs the QHSE Manager, you will lead the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) team at European Energy A/S. Your primary objective is to ensure that all our operations meet the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental protection.
You will be responsible for implementing new processes and systems, developing a long-term quality assurance strategy, and establishing and overseeing Quality Management Systems on a global basis.
In addition, you will inspire a positive HSE culture, provide comprehensive reporting to management, and support key stakeholders in project activities to ensure legislation adherence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the QHSE team and implement new processes and systems.
- Develop a long-term quality assurance strategy.
- Establish and oversee Quality Management Systems on a global basis.
- Inspire a positive HSE culture and provide comprehensive reporting.
- Support key stakeholders in project activities.
To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience in leading (Q)HSE initiatives and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have experience working in a matrix organisation and adapting to changing priorities.
Furthermore, you should have a relevant educational background, e.g., within Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or similar. It would be advantageous if you have experience from a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
You should hold a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent and be able to identify, implement, and manage new and existing quality tools. Additionally, you should be a qualified lead auditor and have a strong understanding of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, and ISO45001:2018.
