We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated researcher to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Acute Kidney Injury at Aarhus University. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative research, teaching, and supervising students at various levels.
Job DescriptionThis is a fixed-term full-time position with a duration of 2 years. As an Assistant Professor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with both Danish and international colleagues, contributing to the development of the department through high-quality research.
- You will teach and supervise students at Bachelor's and Master's level, providing guidance and examination.
- Independent research of high international quality, including publication.
- Some degree of contribution towards attracting external research funding.
- Intravital imaging and analysis of acute kidney injury in transgenic mouse models.
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic qualifications at PhD level.
- Clear communication skills and experience in supervision and teaching at Bachelor's and Master's degree level.
- Extensive experience with mouse handling and small rodent surgical procedures, as well as bioimaging analysis skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, inclusivity, and the ability to contribute to a good work environment.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- An estimated yearly base salary between DKK 484,214.84 and DKK 538,720.20.
- A position-related supplement and pension (17.1%).
