At Circle K, we are seeking a skilled Retail IT Operations Specialist to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an individual who wants to combine their passion for technology and retail operations.

About the Role:

  • As a Retail IT Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company-owned, franchise, and dealer partner store operations in a level 2 capacity.
  • You will work closely with external vendors, internal stakeholders, and business strategy to ensure that IT operations are secure and aligned with company goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide remote and on-site support to the 1st line service desk team, 3rd line SME, local service partners, end-users, and customers to ensure seamless store operations.
  2. Install, configure, and maintain devices and applications within the retail environment, including back-office and point-of-sale applications.
  3. Support new store openings, migrations, decommissioning, and align with business-driven needs that require IT functionality or support.
  4. Distribute, update, patch, and deploy software to the retail estate to ensure secure and stable operations.
  5. Troubleshoot and coordinate customer and local business unit issues, owning and escalating issues as required.
  6. Manage incident, problem, and change management, ensuring accurate information is logged and timely closure of incidents, problems, or changes.
  7. Monitor and resolve alarms generated from alerts on supported systems.
  8. Configure, maintain, and support communication services, including network, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, and associated equipment.
  9. Foster strong relationships with vendors and partners to ensure secure and cost-effective operations in line with agreed SLAs.
  10. Follow up on quality, security, and performance KPIs to ensure secure and stable operations.
  11. Ensure IT operational routines are fully documented and followed by vendors and internal resources.
  12. Develop and deliver training programs for vendors and internal resources.
  13. Participate or manage projects relating to the Retail IT environment, coordinating and executing project plans and tasks locally, European-wide, or globally as needed.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in an IT-related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT operational, Field Service, Level 1/2 service desk, or retail IT environment role.
  • Database and SQL experience.
  • Network topology and support experience.
  • Experience managing distributed systems and locations.
  • Experience managing Microsoft products and systems.
  • Experience in a Service Delivery role or managing external vendors.
  • Fluent oral and written Danish and English skills.
  • A valid driving license.
