We are seeking an exceptional PhD candidate to join our team at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) and contribute to the development of a revolutionary new platform for quantum information technology. Our research team is committed to advancing the frontiers of quantum photonics by creating a universal, scalable platform that integrates deterministic quantum light sources, active components, and detectors onto SiN quantum photonic circuitry together for the first time.
This cutting-edge platform has the potential to revolutionize quantum photonics by enabling the creation, manipulation, and detection of on-demand single photons and entangled photon pairs. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of this project, including:
  • Designing and characterizing novel QD-based quantum light sources for remote quantum computing demonstrators in SiN at 1550 nm.
  • Experimentally characterizing quantum emitters in InP-based material systems with a focus on telecom C-band wavelength.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop a theoretical framework for mapping quantum circuits designed for monolithic computing schemes to a QD-based multi-node remote quantum processing architecture.
  • Assisting in the supervision of graduate students and experimental PhD students and contributing to the mentorship of junior researchers.
