The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a global team of Heavy Lift Specialists, overseeing the planning, execution, and management of offshore heavy lifting operations. This will involve ensuring that all operations are conducted to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy lift operations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of Heavy Lift Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and management of offshore heavy lifting operations, ensuring compliance with Siemens Gamesa's safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of heavy lift operations, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of heavy lift operations with other aspects of the business.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy lift operations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of safety policies and procedures, with the ability to ensure compliance in all aspects of heavy lift operations.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
