Siemen Gamesa is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead Heavy Lift Specialists to join our team. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in driving our vision for a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a global team of dedicated Heavy Lift Specialists, setting direction and targets for project execution and construction.
  • Drive internal projects to their goals, ensuring proper implementation, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Be the first point of contact for any issues, personal or professional, and provide a supportive environment for the team.
  • Improve and optimize processes and routines for the team to meet its full potential.
  • Monitor the pipeline/roadmap demand to ensure proper and sufficient manpower placement.
  • Ensure the competences within the team through competence management, sufficient onboarding, and tracking of development.
  • Provide progress and tracking of internal projects and own the project from start to end.
  • Support the budget calculations and headcount reviews.
  • Safeguard the planning, execution, and management of offshore Heavy Lifting operations, ensuring they are consistently to a standard and quality that ensures the safety of employees, customers, and the public in compliance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy policies and applicable country legal requirements.
  • Drive Siemens Gamesa safety culture based on knowledge and requirements of legislation, regulations, and codes of practice that relate to offshore heavy lifting operations.
  • Continuously improve Siemens Gamesa standards and working procedures associated with Offshore and Onshore lifting Operations.
  • Nominate competent appointed persons/Lifting Specialists for SGRE heavy lift operations.
  • Contribute to continuous innovation in offshore technology.

Requirements:

  • You have leadership skills and ambitions to improve status quo.
  • You have strong and proven project management skills.
  • You have strong technical detail knowledge of Heavy Lift operations offshore and/or onshore.
  • As a person, you are outgoing and proactive, have an analytical mindset, and possess strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • You are a dedicated team player capable of creating and keeping an overview of complex tasks.
  • You have an understanding of cultural barriers and cross-cultural communication.
  • You are open-minded, outspoken, approachable, and you respect others.
  • You are fluent in English both orally and in writing, and you possess skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Support diversity in all aspects contributing to the mindset, philosophy, and targets of Siemens Gamesa.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience. Ideally in project execution and construction for offshore/onshore wind.
