We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Team Lead Heavy Lift Specialists. At Siemens Gamesa, we believe in the power of renewable energy and are committed to creating a better future for our planet.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of heavy lift operations, and a proven track record of project management. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a global team of dedicated Heavy Lift Specialists, driving internal projects to their goals, and ensuring the safety and quality of our offshore heavy lifting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a global team of Heavy Lift Specialists, setting the direction for targets, processes, and behavior.
- Drive internal projects to their goals, ensuring proper implementation, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Be the first point of contact for any issues, personal or professional, and provide psychological safety for the team.
- Improve and optimize processes and routines for the team to meet its full potential.
- Monitor the pipeline/roadmap demand to ensure proper and sufficient manpower placement.
- Ensure competences within the team through competence management, sufficient onboarding, and tracking of development.
- Provide progress and tracking of internal projects and own the project from start to end.
- Safeguard the planning, execution, and management of offshore Heavy Lifting operations, ensuring they are consistently to a standard and quality that ensures the safety of employees, customers, and the public in compliance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy policies and applicable country legal requirements.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills and ambitions to improve status quo.
- Proven project management skills.
- Technical detail knowledge of Heavy Lift operations offshore and/or onshore.
- Outgoing and proactive, with an analytical mindset, strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
- Dedicated team player capable of creating and keeping an overview of complex tasks.
- Understanding of cultural barriers and cross-cultural communication.
