Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Københavns Universitet Full time

We are seeking a skilled and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, University of Copenhagen. As part of this exciting project, you will investigate the interplay between naturally occurring variations in prominent drug targets and clinical phenotypes using pharmacogenomics approaches. Working under the guidance of Associate Professor Alexander S. Hauser, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of the molecular mechanisms governing GPCR function and how these impact personalized medicine.

Your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing novel biochemical assays for characterizing GPCRs, developing computational models to predict receptor-ligand interactions, and analyzing large datasets to uncover relationships between genetic variations, receptor function, disease, and treatment efficacy. To achieve this, you will leverage state-of-the-art technologies, such as FRET- and BRET-based approaches, high-dimensional dataset analysis, and machine learning algorithms.

The Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology offers an exceptional research environment with access to cutting-edge infrastructure, expertise from various disciplines, and opportunities for collaboration with international partners. As a postdoc, you will have the chance to advance your scientific knowledge, contribute to groundbreaking research, and establish yourself as a leading expert in the field of pharmacogenomics.
