As a temporary assignment in Copenhagen (Denmark) lasting between 18 and 24 months, with the possibility of contract extension, we invite you to join our team and contribute your unique skills and talents.

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the migration of ICT infrastructure and operations into our new Co-Location Data Center in Copenhagen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure Racks, PDU's, Cold-Isle Containments, Power Whips, Cable Trays
  • Coordinate the Installation of all the above with various Suppliers and Contractors
  • Design and implement a Structured Cabling environment
  • Manage power supply distribution to Racks as per design
  • Prepare a new Storage Room with emergency cables and supplies on stock
  • Manage security access with new Suppliers
  • Set up a new Office area at the new Site
  • Analyse work requests for migrations, including installation at the new site and decommissioning at the existing site
  • Coordinate migrations with Suppliers and Customers for downtime
  • Submit SNOW tickets (Change Requests)
  • Represent changes at the CAB (Change Request board)
  • Plan Rack placement and device allocation within Racks
  • Coordinate installation with Contractors and Suppliers
  • Cable procurement process management
  • Receive and hand over correct cable types to Suppliers for specific installations
  • Perform pre-installation checks to ensure correct capacity
  • Implement and manage work quality of contractors performing installations
  • Escorting Suppliers during installations, while ensuring contractor compliance with security constraints
  • Perform ongoing Operational Support work at new and existing Sites
  • Remove sensitive data from equipment before dispatch
  • Coordinate site cleanup with Suppliers after migrations

This position requires relevant functional experience in ICT and Hardware Planning and Installation tasks. You should possess good methodical skills in coordination and planning, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high computer literacy, and motivational influencing skills. A calm manner under pressure, ability to make sound decisions, analytical thinking, creativity, and solution-oriented personality are also essential.
