Electrical Cable Sourcing Manager Opportunity

At Solar A/S, we are seeking a seasoned Group Category Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for executing the sourcing strategy within the Electrical and Cable Management categories.
About the Role
The successful candidate will act as the trader representing and supporting supplier negotiations, with the objective of obtaining the best agreements and purchasing terms and conditions for the company.
About the Categories
The Electrical category encompasses products such as sockets, switches, outlets, cabinets, and DIN-Rail products, while the Cable Management category includes power- and installation cables, control cables, and cable support and routing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the vendor agreement responsible in our procurement systems
- Supporting the category strategy with a specific sourcing strategy
- Focusing on and being responsible for COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
- Vendor scouting
- Tenders
- Cross stocking (intercompany trading)

Your Profile
We are looking for a strong, decisive, and creative sourcing profile who harvests energy from negotiating daily. The ideal candidate must be able to perform well both in groups and individually.
- Solid experience within the field of supply chain and sourcing
- Product Management and/or Category Management experience within the Cable area is definitely a plus
- Affinity with technical products and willingness to travel occasionally
- Experience with tactical strategic purchasing processes
- Experience working within an international and cross-functional team
