About the Job

Solar A/S is seeking a seasoned Strategic Sourcing Expert to join our team. As Senior Sourcing Manager for the Heating, Water and Sanitary category, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sourcing strategy that drives business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tactical strategic purchasing processes to achieve best-in-class agreements and purchasing terms and conditions
  • Act as the trader representing and supporting supplier negotiations, maintaining existing and building new relations with vendors
  • Focus on reducing costs through vendor scouting, tenders, and cross-stocking initiatives
  • Support the development of sourcing discipline within the entire category

Requirements

  • Proven experience in supply chain and sourcing, preferably within the Heating, Water and Sanitary industry
  • Affinity with technical products and willingness to travel occasionally
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with ability to perform well in groups and individually
  • Experience working in an international and cross-functional team environment
