Job Description:
Solar A/S seeks a highly skilled Electrical Category Procurement Lead to execute the sourcing strategy within the categories of Electrical and Cable & Cable Management. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in supply chain and sourcing, with a strong affinity for technical products.
About the Role:This role involves representing and supporting supplier negotiations to secure optimal agreements and purchasing terms and conditions. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the development of sourcing as a discipline within the entire category.
Main Responsibilities:- Executing the sourcing strategy within the categories of Electrical and Cable & Cable Management.
- Maintaining and processing supplier information in procurement software.
- Challenging lead times, payment terms, minimum order quantities, and other factors affecting Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Vendor scouting, tender management, and cross-stocking.
- Solid experience in supply chain and sourcing.
- Product Management and/or Category Management experience in the Cable area is an asset.
- Affinity with technical products and willingness to travel occasionally.
- Experience with tactical strategic purchasing processes.
- Experience working in an international and cross-functional team.
