Becoming part of the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying our customers' supply chains.
You will join the Ocean Product Finance team, where you will be exposed to the strategy, technology, and innovation of our core ocean product. You will play a key role in providing insights for the future direction of our company and partnering with the business to deliver our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
You will drive performance management and support business decision-making within Ocean functions. Your key counterparts will be from the Network Strategy and Platforms team, whose vision is to build superior transportation outcomes that address customers' core needs around reliability and flexibility.
You will drive deliverables and processes that include value-add analysis, management reporting, deep dive analysis, performance management, and financial forecasts.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and driving relevant financial and technology performance review processes, including the annual Operational Planning cycle and monthly performance review cycle.
- Supporting stakeholders in defining process quality, cost, and efficiency goals and establishing a link to the Technology roadmap.
- Providing financial input and guidance to relevant business cases and enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Providing recommendations and driving results together with business stakeholders.
- Being accountable for timely, high-quality, and fit-for-purpose reporting and analysis to key stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and risk and control frameworks for the products in scope.
- Ensuring close collaboration with other parts of the Finance organization.
Key Competencies
A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration combined with 3+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning and Analysis, Investment Finance, Accounting, or Strategy.
The ideal candidate for the role will have a passion for driving results together with colleagues, strong academic records, and a proven track record of driving business results.
