About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee product development projects across our product portfolio. As a key member of our project leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating the core product teams from start to finish and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall project schedule, resources, budgets, and quality
  • Validate the concept of feasibility in close corporation with the Design Manager
  • Ensure that the Business management is delivering solid and validated business figures
  • Work with all functions to define project scope, activities, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with and oversee our external collaborators throughout the product development phase
  • Report project progress on a weekly basis and provide full project updates at milestones
  • Overall responsibility to follow the project development process and product quality plan, including testing

Requirements

  • Technical and business-oriented background
  • Broad experience in an international R&D project context
  • Broad technical understanding (ability to work across different technical domains)
  • Experience in consumer products
  • Proven stakeholder and people leadership skills
  • Robust, motivated, outgoing personality and holistic attitude
  • Pro-active and accountable mindset
  • Ability to motivate others, moderate potential conflicts, generate commitment towards shared project goals, and coach & support where necessary
  • Planning of time and budget skills
  • Risk Management skills
  • Value engineering experience
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Chinese is considered an asset
