Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional researcher to join our team as a postdoctoral scientist in plant-microbe interactions. The successful candidate will contribute to our ongoing research projects, focusing on exploring the mechanisms behind plant-microbe interactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with established field experiments and advance our understanding of how plant-microbe interactions can enhance plant pathogen resistance.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in microbial ecology, plant-microbe interactions, or a relevant field. Strong collaborative skills and experience in scientific writing and publication are essential. Prior experience in experimental work, including soil and plants in the field and in greenhouses, as well as microbial community analysis and multivariate statistics, is highly desirable.
This position offers a competitive salary range of approximately €55,000-€65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including subsidized preschool childcare and a free education system from primary school up to university level, universal health insurance, five weeks paid holiday per year, and more.
