About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for guiding top software companies in the Nordics and Baltics in their global innovation and acceleration.

You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop cloud-based solutions that meet their requirements. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and global services, to ensure seamless delivery of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.
  2. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  3. Build the technical relationship with customers and operate as their trusted advisor.
  4. Internally, be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
  5. Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures.
  6. Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.
About the Team

The AWS ISV Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with software companies. We're here to help customers design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions.

Requirements
  1. Background in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, or DevOps.
  2. Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience.
  3. Experience in managing complex sales processes with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
  5. English business-level communication skills written and verbal.
