BELMONT LAVAN LTD is seeking a highly skilled IRB Compliance Consultant to join our team on a part-time contract basis.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all institutional review board (IRB) compliance activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and Evaluate Research Protocols: Conduct thorough reviews of research protocols to ensure compliance with IRB standards, federal regulations, and institutional policies.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Offer expert guidance and support to researchers regarding IRB submissions and compliance issues.
  • Participate in IRB Meetings: Contribute to the review process by participating in IRB meetings and providing valuable insights.
  • Monitor Ongoing Research: Continuously monitor ongoing research to ensure compliance with approved protocols and ethical standards.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Develop and deliver training sessions for researchers and staff on IRB compliance and ethical research practices.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all IRB activities and communications.
  • Develop Compliance Policies: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as health sciences, ethics, or law.
  • IRB Compliance Experience: Previous experience in IRB compliance or a related area.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal regulations relating to human subjects research.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with researchers and stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.

Work Schedule: 20 hours per week for a duration of 8 months.
