Peptide and Protein Specialist in Drug Development

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative researcher to join our team as an Associate Professor in Bioactive Peptides. The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening interdisciplinary research and education at the Department, with a focus on biopharmaceutical studies of peptide ligands that target protein function.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a collaborative and dynamic environment. As an Associate Professor, you will have the opportunity to:
- Pursue original scientific research, with high ambitions in teaching development
- Develop and conduct research-based teaching, including associated examination, in relevant fields
- Lead research projects, including guidance and supervision of researchers
- Mentor junior colleagues and students
- Engage in outreach and/or innovation activities, both within the Department and broadly towards academia, the clinic, and industry
To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in medicinal chemistry, with a demonstrated ability to attract external funding and collaborate with stakeholders.
