About the Role

Arla Foods seeks an experienced Senior Innovation Project Manager to join its Technical Project Lead team. This is a key role in driving innovation project management initiatives and overseeing complex projects within the company's product innovation and R&D environment.

Job Description

  • Co-lead large-scale projects in a complex setup, working closely with commercial teams to elevate product innovation project initiatives.
  • Manage key complex projects by securing the right project management on technical project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of innovations.
  • Oversee prioritizing, planning, and delivering innovations on time, in full, while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate a project team of dedicated specialists to deliver product/pack development tasks from development through execution.
  • Agree and manage prioritization of project workstreams for the team, ensuring alignment with market and stakeholder requirements.
  • Secure that the project team delivers product/packaging as defined by market and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the innovation process, securing feasibility and delivery of the right technical solutions, and participate in relevant gate and decision meetings.
  • Ensure progress on CapEx together with supply chain, delivering the right solution on time for site and commercial.
  • Manage stakeholders in project upstream, removing roadblocks by driving problem-solving with the project team.
  • Owning technical project timeline, ensuring the right fit with commercial timeline for timely delivery.
  • Risk Management through risk assessments and active management of risks.

About You

We are looking for a Senior Innovation Project Manager with documented experience as lead of large-scale projects in a complex setup, ideally with experience in product innovation and R&D within FMCG.

Requirements

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills combined with a global and outgoing mindset enabling fact-based recommendations to management for decision making.
  • Initiative and determination in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, proactive mindset with good stakeholder management skills to navigate within a large matrix organization.
  • Good at communicating clearly and building personal relations across internal organizational levels.
  • Strong technical acumen with curiosity and thirst for knowledge and understanding.
  • Great project management skills including scoping a project, resourcing a project, prioritising tasks, defining roles & responsibilities, setting and agreeing timelines, risk assessing and mitigation plans.
  • Strong communicator facilitating discussions at all levels while securing technical details are understandable also to the wider stakeholder group.
  • Commercial acumen understanding commercial requirements and keeping a customer/consumer lens to ensure the team is delivering the right value-adding product.
  • Big organisational understanding.
  • Highly structured person.
  • Speak and write English effortlessly.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is £85,000 - £110,000 depending on location and experience.
