As a Project Director within Development, you'll lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver high-quality projects on time, within budget, and meeting customer needs.

Your role will involve coordinating resources, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration to create sustainable solutions designed for manufacturing and service.

You'll work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure project success and provide coaching and feedback to team members.

This position is based in Aarhus, Denmark, and requires occasional travel up to 30 days per year globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product creation processes according to Tetra Pak's standards
  • Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and time-to-market requirements within budget
  • Define project scope and requirements with the Product Manager and System Engineer
  • Create and manage project plans, motivating teams to achieve project goals
  • Ensure project results align with customer needs and requirements
  • Maintain high technical quality through Design Review meetings
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment, providing constructive feedback and coaching to team members
  • Report to the Manager Innovation Projects Ice Cream and the Project Steering Group
About You
  • Strong understanding of dairy/food processing, production, and products
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably with R&D projects (planning, scheduling, budgeting)
  • Good mechanical and automation knowledge, including hygienic design principles
  • Excellent training and coaching abilities, strong communication skills
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Danish is a plus
  • BSc degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Automation) or equivalent is preferred

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
