Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Control Room Specialist to join our team in Denmark. As a critical member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and continuous operation of our data center.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and Maintain: Oversee all critical and non-critical work on site, working closely with colleagues to ensure 100% uptime and minimize operational disruptions.
• Systems Troubleshooting: Assist with troubleshooting, analysis, and optimization of BMS, SCADA, Fire Life Safety, and network systems to identify problems and resolve issues promptly.
• Alarm Response: Respond to alarms and proactively identify potential problems to maintain the highest possible uptime.
• Incident Resolution: Act as an incident specialist, collaborating with teams to resolve incidents and ensure quality documentation.
• Process Development: Develop and review operational procedures, standards, and specifications to optimize processes and report on critical operational parameters.
• Technical Guidance: Support and guide technicians and suppliers in their work, ensuring compliance with T5 Data Centers' guidelines and procedures.
• Environmental Monitoring: Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions on site, performing daily virtual inspections of SCADA and BMS systems.

Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in monitoring BMS, SCADA, and Fire Life Safety systems, with technical school education preferred.
• Critical Environment Experience: 3+ years of experience in a critical environment, such as data centers, shipping, power/heat plants, or oil/gas industry.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with a 'can-do' attitude and focus on customer service and pride in work.
