Job Description

At Ørsted Asia Pacific, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our financial controlling department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's financial strategy.

About the Role

  • We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant processes by driving continuous improvement in close collaboration with colleagues and management.
  • As a trusted collaborator for internal and external stakeholders, you will strive to leave a positive impression and build strong relationships.
  • You will have a master's degree in accounting, cand.merc.aud. or similar, and have started or completed your qualification as a state authorised public accountant.
  • You will have solid experience as an auditor, combined with some background in working in a controlling department in a large international company, and thrive in a changing environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Providing timely deliverables while delivering high-quality results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Driving and ensuring the implementation of our standard processes.
  • Planning audits and maintaining a close dialogue with external auditors.
  • Techincal accounting controlling, incl. implementing and monitoring compliance, primarily with IFRS but also local GAAP accounting.

About You

  • You will have excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, be results-oriented, set visible and relevant goals for your tasks, and be a problem-solver with a positive can-do attitude.
  • You will have deep knowledge of financial and accounting (IFRS and Danish GAAP).
  • You will be detail-oriented and have the ability to handle the information you receive with a critical eye.
