Job Description

We are seeking an Imaging Research Associate to join our team at Aarhus University.

About the Position

This is a 2-year full-time position, with an estimated salary of DKK 540,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. As an Imaging Research Associate, you will be part of the Department of Clinical Medicine at Aarhus University Hospital, working in close collaboration with our clinical research teams. You will contribute to our preclinical neuroimaging research activities, including PET imaging and autoradiography experiments, data analysis using PMOD and Beamage, and training new students.

Your Responsibilities
  • Coordinate research activities, including ordering animals, planning and participating in surgeries and scans
  • Oversee the purchase of supplies and maintain equipment
  • Contribute to ongoing projects by performing PET and autoradiography experiments and data analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications

The preferred applicant should have a PhD in Neuroimaging and expertise in PET imaging analysis in rodents and minipig models using PMOD, as well as experience in stereotaxic surgeries and behavioural analysis.
