Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team in developing relationships between fungal traits important for food production and their genome. As a Postdoc, you will be responsible for independently planning, executing and interpreting scientific experiments in close collaboration with our research group and collaborators.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on phenotype-genotype relationships in filamentous fungi
- Develop and maintain laboratory protocols for mycology experiments
- Analyze data and present results at scientific conferences and workshops
- Supervise students and provide guidance on research projects
Requirements
- PhD degree in bioinformatics or related field
- Experience with genetic engineering of filamentous fungi
- Bioinformatics background
- Laboratory experience with mycology
- Ideal: interest or experience in culinary work
