In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that combines expertise in ice sheet dynamics, remote sensing, and computer modeling to advance our knowledge of the Earth's cryosphere. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and education in ice sheet dynamics and develop your skills in areas such as mathematical modeling, programming, and remote sensing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with international partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Conduct research on Greenland Ice Sheet changes using advanced numerical models and observational data.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g., glaciology, geophysics, applied mathematics).
  • Strong research experience in mathematical modeling of relevant physical glacier processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB/Python/Fortran.
  • Experience with satellite remote sensing and field campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to publish at the highest level in the international peer-reviewed research literature.
