About the Position

The Centre for Energy Resources Engineering (CERE) at DTU Chemistry invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position focused on thermodynamic modeling of CO2 storage. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new models and algorithms for simulating the phase behavior of CO2-rich mixtures.

About CERE

CERE is a leading research group in the field of energy resources engineering, with expertise in both experimental measurement and modeling of high-pressure phase equilibrium and thermophysical properties. Our research aims to improve our understanding of the phase behavior of complex systems, enabling more efficient and sustainable use of natural resources.

Your Role

You will work closely with other researchers in the project to integrate thermodynamic models into simulation analysis. Your main responsibilities will include implementing thermodynamic models for CO2-rich mixtures and developing reliable computation algorithms. As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) in areas such as chemical engineering, chemistry, petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, and mathematics.
