Antibody Development Manager

Symphogen, a subsidiary of Servier and antibody center of excellence, is seeking a highly skilled Team Manager Purification to lead our downstream process development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development of monoclonal antibodies, novel antibody formats, and other biologics.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement downstream process development strategies for early and late-stage clinical programs
- Lead a team of highly skilled scientists in the development of monoclonal antibodies and novel antibody formats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology transfer to CMOs and oversight of outsourced activities
- Contribute to the development of downstream development strategies, including next-generation antibody formats
- Project/development of specific tasks as purification scientist/SME
- Extensive hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry within downstream process development of antibody products
- Managerial experience, e.g., from a line function or a project team
- Experience with novel antibody formats, such as bispecific and ADCs, and late-stage process characterization and validation
- Knowledge of GMP requirements, preparation of regulatory documentation, and collaboration/oversight with outsourced activities to CMOs

- Approximately ten days of travel per year
